 We are pleased to announce the purchase of WISUTEC Umwelttechnik [Environmental Technologies] GmbH by G.E.O.S. Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, Freiberg/Saxony.
WISUTEC was founded eight years ago as a subsidiary of government-owned Wismut GmbH. The company has become a well-established brand in the fields of mining related services, process engineering and water treatment, data management, radiation protection and management of NORM, and has developed remarkable international activities.
G.E.O.S. is a leading engineering company in mining, energy, environment and infrastructure, both in Germany and internationally.
From the outset, the acquisition of WISUTEC by a renowned partner had always been the aim of Wismut and the federal government. This has now become true with G.E.O.S. as a strong Saxon company with a long tradition.
